Terms and conditions
Please read our terms and conditions carefuly before you decide to use our services! By using our services you confirm that you've read and accepted these terms.
1. Storage
(a) We do not provide free storage facility

(b) All furniture delivered to our workshop have to be collected within one week after they are recovered (reupholstered)

(c) Upstairs Upholstery will not accept any responsibility for lost or damaged furniture after one week from the day they are ready for collection

(d) After one week we will keep the furniture in our storage for the next two weeks. We will charge storage fee - £10 per week per chair (armchair, stool etc.) and £25 per week per sofa (daybed, chaise-longue etc.). The furniture can not be released without storage fee is paid in full

(e) After three weeks from the day the furniture are ready for collection/delivery the furniture will be send to auction and sold in order to recover all costs. After all costs are deducted from the auction hammer price the rest of the money (if any) will be donated to charity (Dogs Trust). If the money from the auction sale will not cover all our costs, client will be billed for the outstanding balance. There will be seven days payment term.

(f) Any claims after the furniture have been sold in auction will not be considered and no compensation will be given.
(g) We do not accept to our workshop furniture awaiting fabric delivery. In this case storage charges apply (call us for details)

2. Payment
(a) We have strict seven days payment term (applicable to trade clients only). Private clients have to pay for the service before or on delivery/collection day

(b) Payment can be done by cash, cheque (trade clients only) or credit/debit card. PayPal payments also accepted (more information about PayPal system -

(c) Furniture can not be released without payment in full received (private clients only)

(d) If the payment will not reach us within seven days (trade clients only) we will charge late payment fee of £40 plus 8% of the balance due for each day the payment is overdue. After 30 days if payment in full is not received we will claim the debt through Small Claim Court

3. Collection and delivery
(a) We can collect and deliver back your furniture.
(b) Collection and delivery service costs £10 each way for client living in 2 miles radius from our workshop (Battersea, SW8 3NS). For the clients living in different areas the price for collection and delivery will be set individually - we will need to know your post code and house number

4. Media
(a) All media (photos, drawings etc.) on our website are sole property of Upstairs Upholstery.
(b) The media can NOT be downloaded or linked to without our consent.
(c) Use of our media is strictly prohibited for private, corporate or any other purposes.
(d) All unauthorised use of our property (even if altered) will be prosecuted.
